Spend less time organizing your team activities and more time playing on the field.
This guide will help you create and manage your first events on SportEasy.
Creating your first events
To create your first event on SportEasy, go on your Calendar and click on Create.
Select the type of event you want to create
With SportEasy, create and manage all kinds of events from training sessions, to games, to club barbecues. Start by selecting the type of event you want to create:
- Practice
- Championship or league game
- Cup game
- Pickup game
- Friendly game
- Tournament
- Non-sporting events
Fill in the important information about the event
When you create an event, start by filling out the most important information regarding the event:
- The meeting time, start time and end time
- The meeting location and event location
All the event information can be found on the event sheet after creation. Your team members can look at the info whenever, wherever, and will no longer disturb you.
Invitation and reminder settings
To finalise the creation of the event, choose your settings for invitations and reminders.
1. Automatic invitations and reminders
You choose how many days before the event you want all team members to receive the invitation to the event (by email or push notification). Those who don't answer will automatically receive a reminder.
2. Manual invitations and reminders
You choose when to invite your team members and you will have to manually send reminders if they don't answer (if you want to send reminders).

Managing your first event
Your first event is created, you can modify it from your calendar page if needed.
Edit, postpone or cancel an event
To edit, postpone or cancel an event, go into the event page and click on the settings icon on the top right of the page.
Prepare your event
With SportEasy, prepare your events so they run smoothly.
- Reminders: even if you have selected the automatic reminders in the event settings, you can send reminders manually to players who haven't answered and include a personalized message;
- Tasks: assign tasks to players who have answered available for the event (e.g. Bring water bottles);
- Team lineup: prepare you game lineup and share it with the rest of the team (or not 😉).
Communicate with the team about the event
For every event created, a messaging thread will appear on the event page.
Encouraging messages or last minute changes: use the dedicated event thread.

After your first event
Keep track of the details of the event
Once the event has taken place, you can enter the players who attended the event on the event page, to keep track of the attendance of each players. This is very useful if a parent asks you whether their child made it to practice.
After game fun
If the event was a game, you can enter the stats of the meet-up and begin the third half-time with our after game features:
- Vote for the player of the game
- Rate the game and each player
