Invitations and reminders - 📱

Sick of having multiple apps to keep up with attendees to your events? With SportEasy, send invitations to your members and automatic reminders if they don't answer!  

Invitation settings 

Choosing your invitation settings is so simple!

On the calendar page, click on "Create" on the top right of your screen. Choose the type of event you want to create. You can then setup the invitations and visibility.

1. Automatic invitations: all you need to do is choose when you want the invitations to be sent out.
2. Manual invitations: you have to manually send out the invitations.

Editing invitation settings

If you wish to change the event invitation settings, you need to click on the event, and then on the settings icon and "Modify the event". 

Sending manual invitations

If you chose manual invitations, this is how to send them to your members:

• You can invite them by clicking on the green button "Invite members"
• You can also invite them from the game sheet by clicking on the settings icon and "Add players"

If you chose for invitations to be sent out automatically, but now wish to manually invite some players, you can. They will not receive the same invitation twice. 

Sending automatic reminders

Some of your members may forget to answer. Don't worry, SportEasy allows you to send reminders if they don't answer. Automatic reminders are setup by default. 

Your invited players will receive a reminder to answer the invite halfway between the first invitation and the event date, if they did not reply to the first one. 

You can turn automatic reminders off in the event settings, if you prefer sending manual ones, like explained in the next part of this guide. 

Sending manual reminders

You can decide to manually send reminders to all members who have not yet answered, whenever, wherever. 

To do so, click on the settings icon on the event, then on "Send a reminder". 

How will members receive their invitation?

When you invite members to an event, they will receive a push notification, an email, or both, depending on each members notification settings. 

All invitations are available in the notification center on your members' account.
