Cancel an event - 🖥️ 📱

Your team can't practice today because of the bad weather? Your upcoming game has been canceled?

Make sure that you want to cancel it, and not just delete it or postpone it. 

If you are a coach or a player-coach (or just admin of the team, no matter your sports role) you can cancel an event on SportEasy.

On the website, using a computer 💻

Cancel on the event page

• Go to the event page
• Click on "..." to the right of your screen
• Click on 'Cancel event'

You can then:

• 'Notify players of cancellation', they will receive a notification and the event will appear as 'canceled'
• Add a message to explain why the event has be canceled

Cancel from the calendar

You can cancel an event when on browsing the calendar:

• click on "..." of the event
• click on 'Cancel event'

You can then:

• 'Notify players of cancellation', they will receive a notification and the event will appear as 'canceled'
• Add a message to explain why the event has be canceled

On the iOS app 🍏

On the calendar:

• Go to the event page
• Click on the event settings ⚙️
• On the next page click on 'Cancel event'
• You can then:
  • 'Notify players of cancellation', they will receive a notification and the event will appear as 'canceled'
  • Add a message to explain why the event has be canceled
