I am a coach or player-coach and I want to set a number of participants and manage a waiting list for an event or an entire category of events.
If you specify "10 players" for example, the 11th player to respond will be placed on a waiting list, as will the following ones. If one of the first ten withdraws, the 11th will automatically be notified of their participation, and so on.

Create an event from the Calendar tab

At step 4, Attendance management:
The default attendance status must be Awaiting response to enable the next steps
Tick the Participant limit box
Specify the maximum number of participants
If you want to automatically set up a waiting list with these settings for all events in the same category (for example: all training sessions), you need to tick the Apply these attendance settings to all events this season option
View the waiting list at any time from the event page.
For an event category 🔠
To change the attendance settings for an event category, and thus edit or remove the automatic creation of a waiting list, you need to:
Click on the Settings ⚙️ icon in your Calendar
Filter by the category of events you are interested in
Edit your preferences in the Attendance tab

In the event's advanced settings, in the Attendance management tab.
The default attendance status must be Awaiting response to enable the waiting list
Tick the Waiting list box

View the waiting list at any time from the event page
To change the attendance settings for an event category, and thus edit or remove the automatic creation of a waiting list, you need to go to your team's SportEasy website.
