How to invite parents to join a team or club- 📱

As a club administrator or a coach for a youth team, we know that not all your members will have an email address or be old enough to use our app. 

In this case, you can invite their parents to join the team: 

• You can add up to 3 parents for each child's profile
• A parent can manage an unlimited amount of children on SportEasy

Invite parents to join the team by email

To invite new members to join your team, you need to go to the Team page and click on Invite. 

You then have to invite them using one of these three methods. 

Share a link

When you send the link to the parents, they will be able to: 

• Create an account (or log in if they already have one)
• Join the team 
• Indicate that they are joining the team as a player's parent 

Share the team's secret code 

• Click on Other invitation methods 
• Copy the team's secret code and send it to the parents

The parents who receive the code will:

• Create an account (or log in if they already have one)
• Join the team 
• Enter the team's code 
• Indicate that they are joining the team as a player's parent 

Send an invite by email 

• Click on Other invitation methods 
• Choose 1 by 1 or Contacts 
• Enter the child's name and surname but THE PARENT'S EMAIL. 

The parents who receive the invite will:

• Create an account (or log in if they already have one)
• Join the team
• Indicate that they are joining the team as a player's parent 

Make changes in a parent's profile

It's possible a parent joins the team as a member by mistake. 

In the team member database, the wrong profile can appear with the name of the parent or of the child. 

You must:

• Go on the account, in the information section
• Click on use this email for a parent 
• Enter the rest of the information required in the parent section 
• If the profile was in the name of the parent, enter the child's name instead

Change a parent's contact information 

A parent might change email address. In this case, you need to change the email address on their profile so they continue receiving all team information. 

• Go on the child's profile, in the parent section
• Delete the parent
• Create a new parent with the new email address
