As a player, I am marked as present / absent for an event even though I did not respond when registrations opened.
There are three possible explanations:
You are using a professional email address
We strongly recommend not using a professional email address.
In some companies, IT security systems scan emails sent by SportEasy. The software may randomly click on certain links to check whether the message is a potential attack.
We recommend updating your email address / account information.
Your coach manually marked you as present / absent
Your coach can manually indicate your presence or absence.
In this case, you receive a notification informing you of this decision.
The presence status (Present or Absent) is set by default by your coach
Since December 2025, admins and coaches can set default attendance statuses.
You will no longer be asked to indicate your availability:
If the default status is Absent, you need to register.
If the default status is Present, you need to withdraw if you are not available.
You must go to the event page to make this change.
