Create, edit and delete teams in my club - 🖥️

As a club admin on SportEasy, you can:

• Create new teams within the club

• Link teams already using SportEasy to your club

• Edit teams within the club

• Set a team colour

• Delete teams within the club

Create new teams within the club

Create/add teams, who do not already exist on SportEasy, to your club. 

To create teams: 

• Go to the Teams tab (only from the website)
• Click on "Create a new team" and select if you want to create a single team or several teams
• Fill out the information required
• Click on "Create" 

You can also create new teams from My Teams page. 

Link teams already using SportEasy to your club

If you have just subscribed to SportEasy CLUB, congratulations! 

Did one of your club's teams use SportEasy? 

No problem, we can link the team to your club. This allows you to keep the team's history. 

All you have to do is contact us by email at [e-mail] and give us:

• The club's name 

• The team's name AND URL  

Edit teams within the club

If you want to edit information concerning your team, you need to be a club admin.

• Go to the Teams tab to access the team you want to edit 
• Click on the three dots next to the team's name 
• Click on "Edit team"
• Don't forget to save after editing the team's information 

Set a team colour

As a club admin or team coach, you can now assign a custom colour to each of your teams.

This colour is independent of your club's visual theme and stays fixed: it will not change when you add new teams.

It makes it easy to find and tell your teams apart across the entire club environment:

• 📅 Calendar — each team is displayed in its own colour

• 🏆 Leagues & competitions — quickly identify which team is involved

• 📌 Events — tell events apart by team at a glance

• 📍 Venues & opponents — distinguish saved venues and created opponents according to the team they belong to

To set a team colour:

1. Go to the Teams tab in your Club space (only from the website).

2. Click on the three dots next to the team's name.

3. Click on Edit team.

4. In the form, select the colour you want for this team.

5. Click Save to confirm your choice.

💡 Good to know: The colour assigned to a team is permanent and stable. Unlike the previous behaviour, adding a new team to the club will no longer shift the colours of existing teams — whether in the team list or in the calendar.

Delete teams within the club

To delete a team within a club on SportEasy:

• Go to the Teams tab, only from the website

• Click on the three dots next to the team's name

• Click on Delete the team

Caution: Deleting a team is irreversible. You will loose all data concerning this team: game sheets, team members, player and team stats, messaging threads...
