How to create a lineup - 🖥️ 📱

Would you like to create your team lineup on SportEasy, just like in a video game? 

You need to be an admin, team coach or player-coach to have the rights to create lineups. 

From the website, on a computer 🖥️ 

Available for these sports: football (soccer), rugby, basketball, handball, volleyball, ultimate, hockey, australien football, waterpolo, cricket, baseball 

Start with one lineup 

You need to have sent the event invitations to be able to create your game lineups. 

You don't need to wait for all players to have answered the invitation, you need only one player to say they are available to start creating your lineup. You will only be able to add players to the lineup who have said they are available.

To create a lineup:

• Go to the game sheet that you would like to create a lineup for
• Go to the lineup tab 
• Choose your formation and give the lineup a name 
• Slide your players into their position 
• When you save the lineup, you will have the possibility to make it public, so your team members can access it, or keep it private so no one can see the attendance list. You can change the visibility of the lineup whenever you want. 
• To delete a lineup, click on the bin icon

Multiple lineups for different strategies

It's possible to make multiple lineups for one event, if you have different strategies. 

Follow the same steps to make your first lineup and save it. 

Then, click on Add lineup to create a new one. 

You will be able to go from one lineup to the other very easily on the website and on the app. The visibility settings you choose for one lineup applies to all. 

You can create as many lineups as you would like.   

If the formation you are looking for doesn't exist on SportEasy, you can contact us and explain what formation you would like. Our product team will then analyse the demand.

• Click on the position and select an available player 
• Add substitutes if needed
• When you have finished, don't forget to save! 
• You will be able to choose the visibility settings for your lineups: private means only team coaches will have access, public means it will be shared with all team players 
• To delete a lineup, click on the pen icon, on the three lines next to the lineup's name and then on the three dots next to the lineup's name and select Delete 

To create multiple lineups:

• Go to the lineup tab on the game sheet 
• Click on the pen icon
• Choose your formation and give the lineup a name 
• Click on the position and select an available player 
• Add substitutes if needed
• To delete a lineup, click on the pen icon, on the three lines next to the lineup's name and then on the three dots next to the lineup's name and select Delete
